This is page 72 of my upcoming graphic novel: "Flowers Chasing Horizon." I can't believe it's been 7 years since I started it. I shared a while back (Page 62, I believe) that I was on a hiatus for years because 2020 overall was an extremely difficult year for me. Well, for everyone, that's when we had the pandemic and quarantine happening, but I was working on it on a near-daily basis and then it just killed my muse. I managed to recover my motivation to continue last year or so. I have been studying more on comic creation too throughout the hiatus, so there's that. But now I've been drawing more pages. I have plenty of WIPs now. It's still a slow process with many trials-and-errors. But in an age where everything has to be perfect, crisp, and clean, making imperfections is essential to human creation.
To share a bit of the Halloween morbidity, yes, the guy with his arms extended is dead. He was killed by the male protagonist, who's face and name I still haven't revealed. The one grabbing for the sword is the female protagonist, Sayuri. Why is she doing so? Well, on page 62, there were a large group of guards coming in. Currently, they are after the main characters. MMC is already fighting them off (he's a ronin). So, she is going to fend off from them her way. Or at least try to.

Me encanta que no tengas que mostrar sangre para ilustrar una escena violenta, solo el rojo en la ropa de uno de los personajes y la espada son buenas maneras de decir cuál es el personaje agresivo. Excelente trabajo y que bueno saber que has recuperado la inspiración después de la pandemia.
