Prisoner 001 (II)

I wish I could have a better title, but it's literally a portrait of Reina in her prisoner version. At a time where her powers have (supposedly) been depleted by the sword itself and when she's facing the death penalty for her crimes.

I used the Faber-Castells Goldfaber to color this once more, just to keep testing them (also because those were the only colored pencils I had at my disposal back then). I am a little more satisfied with the results here than with "Delilah." Maybe due to the fact that I got a better feel of them.

Anyway, the second reason why I drew her! In the RP I mentioned back with "Delilah," I planned to bring Reina in as an AU character who gets redeemed after becoming a Watchdog. In this AU, the story almost plays out the same as her original one; she's a superheroine that earned merit by fighting a supervillain by herself. She earned admiration and esteem, until 6 years later, where the league of heroes (they have a different name) and law enforcements make the horrifying discovery that she's a serial killer.

The difference in the AU is that Hanami doesn't exist in this universe. Also, she was born with powers, rather than Aka Manto giving the powers for her. But it is deeply ingrained in her. Also, does she get successfully redeemed? I have no idea. She is attributes to be the reason why Starling fell. She does get approached 3 years later by a man who had a similar effect as her. His powers got burnt out to the point where he "died," (he did it for a very noble cause) but he is alive. It's a long, complicated story. But in the story, they knew each other when they were heroes. Currently, he knows her because of her profile, but she doesn't know him.

That's at least in the story my friend and I have planned. I don't know if Reina would realistically be redeemed. Also, don't mind the gold aura. I honestly didn't have any idea what to color at the background
