OCtober #27 Night timeStar gazing 
Jaqueline, Tipaya, Zakari, Tito, and Elliot from my WIP story "NƄr sola gƄr ned" (When the sun goes down)
Was gonna draw a character named Malik too but too many ppl to fit all; this is smaller scale than i usually draw too
Not sure I started making this story in 2014 or 2015, probably the former. Havenāt written on it in ages but still kinda in the back of my head always, I still make art for it from time to time. Also have a collection here btw
But yeah felt like this story and characters was perfect for this prompt; Iāve drawn them experience rain for the first time, now letās pretend itās their first time seeing the night sky and stars
or maybe they would look more excited then, i havenāt written that but a scene where some of them do gaze at the stars iāve written partly but thatās later and not their first time seeing it ā this is also among my stories that consists of a bunch of random paragraphs but I think I got to like chapter 5 or 6 chronologically but probably written more of stuff that would happen later and random āside questsā or character interactions, but most of it is still in my head and just vibes and lore i havenāt quite figured out yet
Also as kinda referenced in the title (that is more of a placeholder still but I do quite like it so might keep) thereās also a time they see the sun set for the first time and actually that is more what theyāve heard stories of before actually seeing it themselves; stories about the sun though they donāt quite get what the sun actually is or how it can "disappear and reappear" like told in old stories from generations before
I at least like that title better than the first ideas i came up with: "Outside" or "the world outside" etc. XD
Had lots of fun making this but not entirely sure how to work with watercolour pencils and make it look good/how i want, especially on paper thatās not really suited for it? Anyway I like how it turned out i think :3Oct 27, 2024
