OC-tober 24: Finish a WIP
Kai & Ezra as kids, I started this september 24th so exactly a month ago. Been meaning to do a redraw of this old art ever since 2022 actuallyAnd ever since then i’ve especially wanted to fix Ezra’s hair.. noticed not long after I made it that I used the wrong colour..
Not sure I like this or not, a lot didn’t end up how I wanted, it was really hard to draw the duplo and make it actually look plastic-y and also there’s a lot of perspective and colour that’s off and the lighting didnt end up how i wnated either..
And stuff got messed up once i coloured (did lineart afterwards, kinda experimental but changed my mind and hated the look)
So the eyes and faces just ended up weird… and after using colour pencils, some watercolour ones, the markers wouldn’t lay down properly when I tried doing more layers for shading.

I think the artwork looks great!! I really love the colors and the background is lovely! The amount of details and items around the artwork is neat! It's adorable
