Nick and Perditha 2026 Redraw

Went digital this time, not sure I like this or not, I didnt really get it how I wanted but also I just didn’t wanna spend too much time on it and ended up doing it more simple. Don’t ask what kinda lighting this is.. I completely lost track of what I was doing and ended up with too many layers that made me confused when trying to fix stuff and also when I tried adding more warm tones on top or paper textures I kept mixing up the layers; especially when saving it and I couldn’t get the same look as the ones I saved before going back to fix mistakes in the lineart, clothes and skin.

I really struggled with the sketch and poses as i decided to do this digitally but i still can’t get used to drawing in digital and for so long I’ve only coloured my traditional art, it’s been too long since I actually drew in digital (and reminder i use my fingers no stylus) so i tried to draw my references traditionally then trace that but ended up mashing up some references and tracing part of those too and lining up everything together with my old art as well so idk anatomy and stuff might look off bc I tried fitting different poses together
I started this at the end of August I think. Saw that it was almost September and remembered I had to do the redraw this year xD I still prefer the previous one to this as I think the interaction didn’t turn out as good in this one, but I’ll come back stronger in 2028 with hopefully more digital skills to do it how i want :PSep 23, 2026

It's so warm and cozy! The colors goes so well together and gives such a nice vibe. Can never wrap my head around how you manage to do stuff like this on the phone
