Wooden Man
I'll repost him again tomorrow when I have more light. But I didn't get a lot of definitive feedback and I think some people were uncertain because he was just an outline. Now that you can see what he is, do you think Wooden Man is a hero or a villain?Aug 27, 2026Comments
Looks like he's gonna stab out my teeth but also looks slightly gentle sooooo I say hero

but it'd also be a cool design for a villain..The Lorax is is love with him but I can’t prove it yet
And he’s definitely a vigilante of sorts. Does bad things for the greater good type of stuff

I feel like he could've been once a hero, but people took him for granted. Either that, or he saw how ecosystems were being destroyed by humans to collect resources.
Now he takes "revenge" by destroying anything that's environmentally unfriendly, or simply lacking nature. But he takes it too far, not realising how it's affecting other people's lives (imagine your home in an urban city being destroyed because no greenery)
Perhaps he's not a villain in his mind; he loves nature so much and will do whatever it takes to prevent anyone from ruining it, whether or not it costs lives of people :p

Oh dangit, him being a tree guy instantly shifts my opinion from villain to something more heroic… it’s a weird bias, but it’s hard not to think of a forest-looking creature as something more noble or inherently good lol (before he reminded me of the Horned King from The Black Cauldron honestly)
