Ignis after a fight. The Wrath Ring has a society structured around combat, so skirmishes are common. There’s a whole complex hierarchy of strength measured by how many fights you’ve won and lost respectively, you’re expected to go to bat for pretty much any slight against you and your family/friends and not doing so is considered cowardly, etc.

Ignis is actually in a pretty good state, many Wrath Ringers will end up losing tails, ears, or horns in fights but he’s managed to keep all of his (though his horns are fractured), which is a testament to his position as the Vice of Wrath. Ignis doesn’t start fights but he does end them. Being at the top just means that you’re going to get challenged a lot.

Kind of self-indulgent piece
