Sawyer and Anthony in Norwegian traditional clothing (bunad)Thereās so many types of bunads, basically every region has their own and some regions even have multiple designs. I havenāt had a bunad since I was a toddler but the ones i drew here are both from my region (I would say the purple one isnāt the most common but some of my old classmates had it and I think itās so pretty!)
I tried to simplify the designs a bit bc theyāre so detailed but didnāt wanna change too much and ended up spending wayy too long time on the details anyway
the sketch alone took me like 2-3 hours even as a redraw bc I started this in my sketchbook but the anatomy looked so wonky and their heads too big so I redrew it on bigger paper ā I feel like Iām struggling everytime I try to draw full body shots nowadays bc Iāve mostly drawn half bodies for yearsAnyway.. Iāve been meaning to do this challenge for a while but actually it really fits well that I got around to do it just now bc Norwayās constitution day is coming up and thatās the occassion most ppl wear their bunad (ofc you can wear it for other celebrations too but thatās when most ppl wear theirs) itās actually also Norwayās liberation day today and itās purely coincidental that I finished this last night but it kinda fits lol

it took me a lot of time but it was fun, I actually worked on this over three or four days (not counting the first sketch I did in my sketchbook) and it really felt good to be able to draw again after a minor art block!!
