Anthony doodlesThey all look so ugly;; ok I don’t actually find the last one that ugly but it doesn’t look like Ant…
So I wanted to draw Ant for this bc I thought it would be the easist at least if I were to draw an OC, but apparantly I can’t draw as fast as I thought.. I think my problem was that when using a pen and trying to spare time I skipped my usual guide lines – wich made things disproportionate; probably even more so since I drew as fast as I could, for the first one I started to draw guide lines out of habit so probably why I didn’t get time to draw more, I swear I’ve done this thing before and managed to draw a lot more then
And then for the second one I ended up focusing too much on fixing his nose so no time for other details. I kinda just moved my hand in the motion of guide lines for the other ones trying not to actually draw them
If I had used a pencil instead I probably would’ve erased the last one and started again or at least if it was a usual sketch and not this kinda challenge,, I actually had like 2-3 mins left when I considered it ‘done’ so I just tried to make some lines more refined and do some shading instead, and tried my best to make his features more accurate (especially his chin, nose and ears) I haven’t drawn him in a while so maybe that’s why I think even the 5 min one looks off
Just wrote his name and blocked it in to cover the empty spaces lol
This was a very fun challenge, though I’m noticing how absolutely not used I am to warm-ups and gesture drawings (I usually jump straight into a drawing, on rare occasions I do thumbnails)

I agree with talltallon! You got a lot done in five and 1 and then had time to spare. That's impressive, even if you feel it doesn't look like Ant. Plus this is usually an exercise that I do multiple times, so you're meant to improve each time you do it. If this is your starting point, then you're already awesome at it! Thanks so much for participating!
