Updated Rumor ref!

Lord Rumor (any pronouns,) or Mother Rumor as She is sometimes called, is the God of the Abyss and everything formed from it, the former ruler of the town of Abyssia, and Overlord’s parent (the most important part to Her!).
Within Zir home of the Abyss, Rumor has been worshipped for a very long time. Her true origin is unknown, and She has long since forgotten it. But as the fable goes, Ze corroded the world below with the sticky, tar-like matter that forms His body until the Abyss formed, granting Rumor a new, empty world to explore, to create, to rule.
Rumor took a lot of inspiration from the few things She saw of the Human’s realm, a world She loved dearly until they grew to fear Him. She sometimes remembers the Humans who got too close, whether in wonder or in curiosity, and the way the Abyss around Zem… changed them. Sometimes they feel guilty; sometimes they feel nothing at all, why should She? That’s how Her world works, after all! As powerful as Ze is, She could not change this…

Cycles and cycles of Godlihood have lead to considerable strain on Rumor’s body and mind. Rumor knew She would eventually have to rest, to heal somewhere She could not be bothered, and someone would have to rule in Zir place.
With this, Zir dearest Overlord was born, and was thrust into the role of Demigod of the Abyss and the next ruler of Abyssia at only 17 cycles old, while Rumor slithered away to parts unknown to finally get the rest He desperately needed.

That was over 10 cycles ago; Rumor has not been seen or heard from since. There is some speculation that She visits Overlord’s dreams, but Overlord has neither confirmed nor denied this; in fact, He’s been very secretive about what He’s gotten up to in the Dreamscape as of late…

I never got around to posting Rumor’s updated ref!! Though to be fair, nothing has really changed… She is just as goop as ever. Good for Her!
I love Rumor… I have a pic of Zem that I’m gonna post immediately after this, cus I realize just the ref alone is a bit boring! I need to get back to work on updating my refs now that Art Fight’s over, I just have so many wips and projects going on grahhh…
