2020 | I am proud of this…It's a painting I made for a challenge two years ago.
It was hosted on Discord over 4 weeks by a YouTuber, and the participants voted each round. (Was a lot of fun.) Making it to the final round was a huge confidence boost!
I am proud because I pushed myself to think of big concepts & create strong images!
The 3rd round was basically a character design challenge; we were given a pose that we couldn't change.
The aim was to come up with a strong story (telling) without any text or explanation.
Do you think my tiny red riding hood solution was a suitable one? The negative space between the wolf shadow and the character, which resembles an arrow, is something I'm very proud of.
I see them as an assassin duo, with her controlling the wolf
, who waits for her next command like a puppet.
