Statmentring: Vulnerable Woman 
This treasure of mine is one of my very first female figure rings I've ever made. 
It's in brass since gold is out of my budget right now. 
I used the lost-wax casting method (I started to learn about it last year and have been obsessed since then). This basically means before I cast this ring in metal, I sculpted it with my hands in 100% wax.
It's tedious work, and especially body-inspired pieces require a lot of practice, patience, and concentration. But seeing how I am developing this specific skill set makes me beyond proud and happy.
This is a milestone. From now on, I will definitely create more and more figure-inspired jewellery pieces because I want to make illustrative and sentimental jewellery for wholesome people. C: In this ring, I actually see a slightly vulnerable but also longing expression in her. What do you think?!
Oh, by the way, the face is actually hollowed out for a jewel I still have to facet. I'm not even sure if I will wear it since it's quite chunky, hahaha, perhaps I will sell it to someone.May 28, 2026
