Roll for Initiative!
You know what, I really love this one :D Made for Atramis and Neko with their Kuda babies, namely Vilya and Mishka - and this particular piece is DnD inspired as well :DNot gonna lie, painting this bg and light it as well, definitely tested my patience and also health. My knees totally killed me after long hours of bg work, but I always found something to work on. Here, I needed to work on that bush, i need to light up the grass, paint more grass, decide on colour hues according to my different temp lighting, add rim lighting TO THE LEAVES!!! And absolutely loved it. I really wanted a thick, foggy forest, but not too thick and I am totally satisfied with the outcome. I also wanted to keep the kudas more simpler, because I just love the contrast of a fully painted background and inked/cell shaded characters.
And I also love my values! This piece is not super dark!!!! :DOct 30, 2026
