Never Found

Losing a beloved pet is always hard - but not knowing what happened to it is the worst.

I was advised to try to tell more stories with my art and measuring my options I chose violence and breaking hearts.

I am curious about your guesses of what could happen here!

Also man, the GRASS, it tortured me. I worked on this piece super slowly through the heatwave and my brain just refused to work and understand how grass works from above. I spent 3 days trying to paint the grass. Heatwave ends, I've done it in under a day. Funny to see how temperature affects my thinking resources

Very fanciful Guess on what happened :

the Pet jackalope stole all the kids Halloween candy and ate it all. Poor jackalope’s belly exploded, just like mom always predicted when the kids eat to much candy. The jackalope sacrificed its small life to save the kids from stomach aches and cavities. The Halloween spirits, saddened by sacrifice instead of mayhem, tried to cover up the whole thing with grass in November. @mocarro got a glimpse of the cover up and shared a fitting tribute to the selfless jackalope pet. And now the family has closure over the disappearance of the candy and their pet

You may think there is such thing as "too much horse art." I kindly disagree.
