Que Horror entry into alisterfox's DTIYSHehe, I had fun coming up with the composition. I made about seven thumbnails and actually followed through with the layout I liked the most, which is good.I really liked the original composition and since I could change anything as long as it maintained a resemblance, Alisterfox's DTIYS was perfect for me.
The face of the big cat was based off of Robert Smithson's Cat, which looks a lot more creepy and hilarious. I spent a good while laughing at it.
He's an American painter but this cat painting looks like it's in the style of sumi e (traditional ink paintings).I'll probably post ball pen art for now since I feel a little stifled by digital art. I only have one red pen and several black pens so we'll see how long this lasts.Apr 9, 2023
