Quincy “Starseeker” PyriteQuincy Pyrite has finally sent in his application for a role aboard the Violet Sparrow! His resume is very impressive and definitely all true!
Pyrite is a portly, middle-aged astral elf. He carries himself with a polite, waffling bluster and precarious overconfidence, relying on his quick tongue and delegating any tasks possible to those under his command who actually know what they’re doing. He seems to get by surprisingly well when left to improvise though. He would thrive as the Head of Diplomacy or some similar role.
Truth be told, he’s led a rather dull life, as a bookkeeper for his family’s exports business. He’d always dreamed of visiting the wondrous places that were reduced to meaningless data entry in his job, but recently was rather suddenly overcome with a midlife crisis, and has decided there is no time to waste!
He must take to the stars for himself, become a pirate and live a life of adventure!
(Fun fact, “pyrite” is another name for Fool’s Gold!)Dec 18, 2023

•
•ohh, he's definitely a fun character! I love incompetent yet charismatic characters, I bet he'll be an amazing addition to the crew
Welcome aboard, Mr. Quincy!

•Hahaha, I love how you play with his last name. Love his story and character design, I hardly ever see characters like him.

•MAXTEN'S LOG MAKES A RETURN! (For context, my character Maxten makes logs on all crew members) Here's his log on Quincy: "Cap'n Loretta, Ian, and more responsible people know how to manage and keep the crew organized: who knew we'd actually get someone who does this stuff as a job! This Quincy . . . pie-rat? Pee-right? Pie-mate? UGH Curse my illiteracy. Mr. Starseeker as he calls himself knows how to handle the current maters. Notices a faulty engine? Gets Moss to deal with it. Sees our defenses malfunctioning? Throws me at the problem. See's that our mast is torn? Tells Seamster to get on the case! Its good to have a guy that knows whats wrong and help us out . . . but, I feel like somethings . . . off about him. He's not a bad guy, I'd admit, but he's giving me . . . off-putting feelings. Will add onto this if I find something." My opinion now! I love the design and vibe of your character! He gives of 'classy' vibes. Curious whats he's TOTALLY not hiding.
