New Linocut Test Print

My next big banner design! I’ve had this idea of a cunty little knight fighting some kind of monster with the slogan “SLAY” rattling around my head for a while now, and I finally have the spare time to work on new designs rather than just frantically restocking for the next market. What a delight it is to have spare time!

Anyway, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this design, if you like it, if you would buy it, what colour fabric you want it on (magenta?) if you think it would make a cool t-shirt, if there are similar designs you want to see… Opinions and feedback help me out a ton!

After printing this test, I carved some of the outlines a little thicker to help with the clarity, but I have to say I love how it looks overall, and the white ink on black background has unexpectedly won me over.
