Day 6 - 8 ‘Placebo’ hiyoponyo hiyoctober2026
I cleaning up the original painting digitally since I didn’t like a part of it. I think the theme placebo really fits Sayaka. She was having some conflict with her wish and how she saw herself. She may have thought fighting witches was her only way to cope with her regrets. But Sayaka blocking out the physical pain only made her more disconnected from herself mentally. Her knowing her body isn’t even hers took a toll on her. Sayaka didn’t really care how damaged her body got since she could heal and block out the pain. But the pain she felt mentally could never be healed.Oct 9, 2026#inktober
