The Cariñosa

More illustrations from 2021 incoming! This time, it's my fanart from one of Steampianist's recent songs, "Ang Cariñosa." I really love this one, especially because it's a Tagalog Vocaloid with a dash of folk music (and that combo is just-- chef's kiss)

For this artwork, I had to draw the Traje de Mestiza with frills instead of lace since I suck at it and I was on a tight deadline. But, to make up for it, I added some details like pearls and patterns on the clothes, and it came out so nice!

Just for context: there's two versions of this (feel free to check the other on my IG,) and for this one, I'm really proud of how I drew the heart and blood. Should've added more darker shading to emphasize it, but for something that I did for the first time, it's better than I expected, tbh...
