Style challengeI decided to post the challenge entries I had on hold before my hiatus, so I'll be posting some stuff very close to another. Hope next week I get to finish my comic so I can go full hiatus.
Here is my entry featuring my character Cali and this time I wanted to pay tribute to four of my first comic inspirations while growing up. All of these authors, except for Quino who is Argentinian, are from Chile like myself and they meant a lot to me, specially Themo Lobos, whose adventure comics series "Mampato", gave me lots of fun, but also made me start to consider to work on comics, even if is as a hobby.
While all of them are now long gone, is still worth it to take a look to their work
Since they are mostly from the 60s, some plots might not sit well with modern audiences, but their stories and artwork are still entertaining, specially Quino, whose humor I guess is the one that aged the best
