redrawDecided to redo this doodle as I've been reworking my character designs, and I'm much happier with how I draw them now.
Some have... changed more than others lol
It's nice to see improvements to my style again. My art stagnated between 2019-2024 and I saw basically zero improvements, which was frustrating... I was ready to (rage)quit drawing forever any day. While I did have a baby during that time and drew a little less in general, I don't believe that's why... I think I just lost motivation moving from fanart to original art and clearly seeing a drop in interest from people... I'm sure alot of us know that feeling lol.
It's one of the several reasons I'm offline these days, just... working on my art and improving for my own sake. It's helped alot with my mental health too.

Anyway, that face squish doodle was always one of my favourites- it sums up the dynamic between Mill and Erjan quite well :'D
I had to have Erjan switch hands, though, because the posing was awkward beyond fixing... so the vibe changed a bit.
And hey, there's still errors on the new one, and honestly I still have alot of work to do to get better, but I'm much more satisfied with the overall look to it!Mar 24, 2025
