A peace to remember
A visual extract from a memory a long time ago. The proceedings of ‘Pathal Gadi’ (to engrave in stone) unfolded before a gathering I had never seen before.The event brought together my extended family from distant lands to commemorate the generation that had concluded.
The stone erected was twice the size of my 9-year-old self who traced the engraved names of her ancestors.
