leaving art fight now to go back to my own oc's, here's my new girl :D as i think we've stated already. I play a lot of TTRPGs (think dnd). And a few months ago me and my friends tried vampire the masquerade and OMGS we're obssesed
This is technically my second VtM oc, actually. First one was an italian caitiff called Gio and he actually married Azufre on my tomodachi life island bc if anyone can handle that asshole it's definitely the stoner caitiff that has been disowned twice lmao. They're my new crackship I might post a sketch I have of them tomorrow
But back to this one– this is Ailís (she/her) and she's my current character :D we already finished our Rome campaign so now we moved to Edimburgh and i'm loving it so much
and i love HER so much!! Sooo Ailís is a malkavian :D for those who don't know VtM, in this universe vampires are divided by clans, and you get the clan of whoever turned you (your sire). Each clan has its own characteristics, powers and a curse. In malkavians' case, you literally go crazy :) if you already had a mental illness it gets worse, if you didn't congrats!! Now you do :D (caitiffs, btw, are clanless. When you get turned you either get your sire's clan or none. Everyone in universe hates caitiffs and i'm absolutely obssesed with them
)Anyways back to my girl Ailís now that you have the lore :) she's half scottish half irish (dad is an inmigrant), and her sire is very happy about it bc he's also irish. From her dad she got the irish heritage and schizophrenia, and she also happens to have synesthesia (she can see smells) so in general she just. Sees a lot of things no one else does. And bc she's a malkavian she has auspex aka the seeing things spell list so YEAH. Lots of seeing things and never knowing if no one else sees it bc it's invisible or bc it isnt real. And she got turned in the 80's (never got over them) after escaping from a mental health hospital so she has really bad medical trauma :) girlypop will NOT go to therapy or take meds leave her aloneeee
Instead she has her rat Madonna :D her bestie is a nosferatu and gifted her Madonna, she's now Ailís' familiar and psychiatric service rat aka she's trained to greet everyone so Ailís can tell if they exist or not. And bc she's her familiar they can actually talk to each other so Madonna is also really good at deescalating episodes :) and she usually wears a tiny fucsia service animal vest matching Ailís' purse
Ailís herself is like super colorful and cheerful, this one is just dramatic bc I was just redrawing the cover of this single (https://youtu.be/woJW1brFFhE?is=LXC_Nmi_kTSQ2Anf) because THAT'S LITERALLY THEMMMMM. The lyrics of petty crimes are NOT Ailís core but the music video??? The cover???? 100% her Mollie Elizabeth is so malkavian coded

Fun fact I made Madonna her favourite singer bc I made her a pinterest board with outfit/makeup inspiration (she always dressed very over the top even by 80's stardards, and never changed. She's been wearing all black lately bc she's grieving but otherwise she's a color explosion) and realised half the pins were actually pictures of Madonna in the 80's akhdkfkf so like. OBVIOUSLY she likes Madonna. I think she saw her fashion style and went WAIT THAT'S ALLOWED??? And started dressing the way she does bc of her. She's also obssesed with music and still has a walkman with all the songs she likes so I also made her a playlist with the music i think she listens to. I described it as "80's girlypop" lmao, but she also has some 90's/2000's music in there bc well. She's still alive. Ofc she still listens to the new music of the singers she likes. I have just a girl on her playlist
