the composition looked nicer in my head, worked on this piece for too long i had to stop rendering every accurately and just finish the damn thing purely by vibes. torturing baby kai again with bullshit symbolism"last day of summer/your last day of summer" was a title i liked for the story but i realized how overused it is and i cant think of a better one. like, its not just the literal season being important to the story, but what it represents/symbolises (nostalgia, freedom, childhood joy, many of their current problems stem from childhood (i mean, what isn't?)) "last day of summer" is an end of an era, but just right before it. many summers are ended. no one dies btwAug 30, 2026
