Copa!
This is Copa my new oc :D. Pronouns are Copa/Copa (or any because this is a pain to write)Normally a slow moving flower with a bulbous base. In spurts of anger, hunger, excitement etc Copa will extend and harden its many roots to travel faster and to impale (usually) prey. This effect uses a lot of energy and is only sustainable for about 5 minutes. Afterwards, Copa’s roots will be withdrawn again and will be extremely sluggish until Copa can regain enough energy. This process can be sped up through consumption of the oversized insects in Copa’s habitat.
Has a singular vine on stem which is used as a hand. Can’t lift much but can support Copa’s own weight for a good amount of time. Copa usually sleeps in trees by using Copa’s vine to secure Copa to the trunk or a branch (this pronoun thing is a headache lol).
About 4 ft tall.
Can speak and communicate freely but isn’t very bright. Can’t read or do basic math.
Copa’s petal’s will spin back and forth like a fan at all times with the exception of when spaced out and sleeping. Spacing out is pretty common when Copa is in a conversation and isn’t talking.
For how dim Copa is, Copa really talks a lot. Very social and curious when meeting new people. Rarely forms emotional connections to individuals tho. Not dangerous unless starving. Copa will generally avoid harming anything but bugs.
