Magus Vol 3[oc Dee]
Ooh! Magus is back -- and I hear it's gone monthly!
Back in 2021, I made an illustration of Dee on the cover of Magus Weekly: an in-universe gossip mag popular among the magically or monstrously inclined. Then I followed it up with a 2022 edition! I was going to make it a yearly thing, but then life happened.
(It's an excuse to redraw Vogue covers with my darling Dee. Why it was ever a weekly magazine when it has the month on the cover makes no sense, but walk with me here. Let's say it had a change of editor and, in 2021, was on the up from a pretty trashy era. Either way, I chopped the "weekly" from its name.)
Wrt to the blurb -- Felix Glass was a prominent model and one of Magus' favorite people some 40 years ago; nowadays, he's better known to us as Dee's former fashion teacher. He's a character in the original webnovel I wrote in 2021. He and Dee are only as close as you'd expect a teacher and student to be but I think, seeing Magus being so eager to cameo Dee, he'd come back to the industry if it meant taking her under his wing.
(Btw, this cover was inspired by Lily Collins on the cover of Vogue France! 2022's piece was modelled off a Giancarlo Esposito photoshoot, and I thiiink 2021's was from a Selena Gomez Vogue cover. In case you were curious.)Jun 19, 2026
