Maggots & Blood-Stained Cloth
GIFT: Angel of DeathMy friends held their annual Secret Santa art exchange, and this is what I drew up for my giftee, Zom! He suggested either of his DnD characters.
I ended up drawing Moth, a Worm Cultist. Such cultists do not like the idea of necromancy and seek out to minimize it. Moth has maggots in his arm and chest that he uses for attacks, but he usually covers himself in armor and bandages.
The girl in his arms is someone I randomly drew in for the plot- LOL! I wanted to draw a scene where Moth interacts with a recent sacrifice, using his worms to make sure this person cannot be reanimated after death, so they suffer no more.
Since I've been sick on and off and ESPECIALLY through December, I spedran this within a few days before the deadline with a couple friends cheering me on. It was so hard not to share my progress with them, lest they see what my gift was and who it was for! I had a great time drawing this and trying new things.Jan 28, 2024
