OC Realism vs Stylized

If you tend to draw in a style, try to draw your OC ‘realistically’! (Or as close as possible). *Template is optional.* I am sure this challenge has been made before but I didn’t see it and I wanted to do it myself! Got the idea from a thread in the community on Artfol. It doesn’t *have* to be perfectly realistic or more than a sketch if you prefer, it just really depends on how far you want to take the challenge. The point is to try to A. Draw in a realistic style/proportions to the best of your inclination and B. Imagine and draw your OC as realistically as you can. I found (as someone who doesn’t do realism) it helps me to find a reference photo of a person, model or celebrity, (or yourself/whomever inspired them) that looks similar enough to your oc if possible, with drawing realism. But everyones different, thats just a thing that helped for me No time limit or prizes, just funsies

This handsome dude 🔥 the shading on his cheek and neck are so great. Something about the realistic version reminds me of the charm of old scientific illustrations which I LOVE

Amazing job! I do love the varying levels of contrast in the rendered version!! But there’s just something about when it’s just lines too, the clarity
