Whimsy Wednesday : making anti ai pin + showcase old pins
Happy whimsy wednesday (yes I know it's thursday already, I oversleep last night)I made anti ai pin for my bag, as you can see the letters looked a little messy, it is because the string that I use is not the string people use for embroidery, it just a regular string, I should have double it next time but I'm really happy with the result.
also I wanna show you some of my diy pins, at the top part, they're all made by me, at the bottom it just bought store pins I mean it's very obvious they are made of plastic and the red smiley one, my friend gave it to me.
the pin display or I could say mini banner? I mean when the first time I look for an inspo on pinterest, they are all shaped like banner so I was thought maybe this is how the pin display looked like in default? some of them use denim but I don't have any, I just use what I have at home.
you might wonder, why did I struggle so hard to learn how to sew and just end up to make something like this? so let me tell you something, it is because I want to, because I know I'm capable to do it, I want to tell the world that I can make stuff and this is the results. it's might not be the best of me but if it inspire other, it makes me want to create more.Aug 12, 2026

I LOVE THESE I rarely ever see embroidery turned into pins and I love the way it looks!! I think your sewing skills are to be envied. I'd love to sew like that but I don't have the patience
