Posted only their eyes, now gotta post their glow up ehehIve designed them back when I was 12, most likely when I first started using artfol. I feel so old, it's been 5 years..
I never did anything with them and especially together but I felt like they would fit together in a way?
So now they're going to be a doomed yuri
yeah I hate when my characters are happy. Just joking idk if I should make them doomed yet cus the story is mainly about second chance.
Here's what I was thinking of :
Naoki was supposed to be the band’s guitarist, most likely to be the one who would lead them through the performance that could change everything. Instead, on the night of their national debut, she vanished.
The band still made it into the top five, but its members never forgave her. Atsuko, the pink-haired bassist she secretly loved, abandoned music and became a nail artist. Naoki disappeared into a new band, carrying her guilt with her.
Years later, Atsuko accepts a job doing the nails of a drummer from Naoki’s group. One appointment brings them face-to-face again, reviving everything they tried to bury: the failed performance, the broken "friendship", the jealousy, and the love neither of them ever knew how to name.
Now Atsuko must decide whether Naoki deserves forgiveness, and Naoki must finally reveal why she left before she destroys the only second chance they may ever have.

Naoki’s central contradiction is that she wants to be understood, but repeatedly refuses to explain herself. She may communicate her feelings through guitar / performances, yet she hurts people whenever she has to speak directly (or with her silence too). She needs to understand that music can reveal what she feels, but it cannot replace "real communication" (didn't find a better word).
Atsuko is the opposite. She once belonged to music but gave it up after Naoki’s disappearance. Reconnecting with Naoki forces her to ask whether she truly stopped loving music oooorrrr whether she simply stopped allowing herself to love it
