DTIYS: Axolotl + Watermelon Character

Draw this in your style! I drew this axolotl based on a challenge to create a character out of an axolotl & a watermelon. The challenge is to do the same! Either redraw the concept the way I made it, or come up with a different way to turn an axolotl & a watermelon into a character! Deadline is May 1st. I'll reshare my favorite entries & announce the winner on May 2nd! I'm excited to see what you come up with!

I wanted to add some shading and patterns on my boy but I had problems with managing layers and I messed up basicly. Welp. I'm still learning.

I hope I can improve and maybe some of you will like the product hah. I tried my best.
