Goretober - Impaled
I missed out last year so I’m trying to do goretober this summer instead.I don't have anything profound to say about this drawing because there is literally no meaning behind it. It's just Melancholy impaled on a thorn by a Butcher Bird because that seemed gnarly. I do like how it turned out though.
I had to cut down trees like this at my grandparents farm. They were very sharp, very thick, and SUCKED. I think they're called honey locust trees.
look them up, they're terrifying lol. Now imagine having to duck massive spikes while trying to cut away limbs with a little hand saw and clippers and you'll understand what I went through.
I thankfully didn't find any grisly treasures, but I don't think Shrike's live in that part of the country.May 30, 2022
