-porcus-thetalkingpig-...and that's just like little sneaky move that's not so sneaky.
so, yeah, a moment ago there happened colouring challenge hosted by sushi cat.
as you can read in challenge's description it's main purpose is to encourage you to have fun while practicing colouring. and haru can attest for that to be very true statement as thanks to sushi cat's great care throughout the process of guiding you, all you are left with to do is just have the joyous time while experimenting in the ways of colouring.
...
and so haru presents to you some, daring to say, quite simple and basic coloring of characters.
.
why haru dares to say basic? -it's because the way haru choose to approach this challenge was by following the colour guide quite a lot as the first step. haru liked how easy it was to see characters come along by colouring in them based on information given.
.
now then the next step haru choose was to playfully apply colorful shades/highlights to give more depth while not having great pressure on oneself.
.
as well you could say that it was haru applying the newfound knowledge and test skills acquired along the journey of playfully exploring digital art on mobile phone.
.
so to say, for the next step haru choose to integrate haru's own photography for background. haru knows that it's not exactly colouring with brush pixel by pixel. that's what was tickling in this case. is it really okay for haru to do so? but let's look at it like this - sushi encourages you to have fun to be yourself and the most recent fun of being myself is adapting photography in drawings as the base for exploring the emotions/moods. as for its core element being the switch for motion in one's mind.
.
and then to all that just add some edits to really soak in all the fun of being the artist haru is while still being true to the original sushi created. haru thinks that haru did well. what are your thoughts on it?
