NUDITY
The trapeze
Possibly my most ambitious drawing to date, I hesitated about sharing it, but I really don't see why not! I've been drawing Goldie a lot lately compared to my other characters, and I think it has to do with what she represents as a character. She's strong, committed, passionate, and determined, and that's reflected in her presentation. Obviously, this isn't literal; I just wanted to graphically depict that feeling of vulnerability one shows when surrendering to an artistic discipline. If art is embraced too much, it ends up being a raw vestige of the mind of its creator.Aug 9, 2026#digital

ohhh this is absolutely gorgeous!! The chiaroscuro of it all??? I love the way the light hits Goldie's back muscles ajdjsj and the glow it makes as it backlights her legs. The concept of devoting yourself to art is so well conveyed here too aaa....
