Jesus for July

#JesusforJuly Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." ________ After JuneforJesus comes JesusforJuly ~ #JesusforJuly! Rules and guidelines from @Pupwin who created the first challenge JuneforJesus ⬇️ 📍What's Jesus for July? It's exactly what it sounds like! Making July a month to focus on Jesus! The man who suffered unimaginable pain for our sins, so that we could be forgiven just by asking him and believing 📍What is the goal? To glorify and show your love for Jesus! Maybe even bring others to him. 📍What do I do? Anything! You can make it a daily verse challenge if you'd like, or just post doodles and art of personal testimonies, your love for Jesus, or just art with a bible verse pasted to it! Whatever you feel would glorify Jesus at your own pace. 📍Do I have to be a Christian or believe to join? Nope! You can be Catholic or even an Atheist to join in, as long as you respect each other's beliefs and Do Not make something mocking Jesus 📍Are there any rules? Not really? It is pretty loose and unmoderated. But I ask that whatever you do, do it to glorify God or show some kind of appreciation to him. He created us and loves us, even when it's hard to believe. 📍Is there a time limit? Nope! Technically It ends at the end of June, but that doesn't mean you have to stop! If you have any other questions or just wanna talk about Jesus, don't be afraid to leave a comment! Feel free to share personal testimonies! I will not tolerate any hate comments or anything disrespectful. Honest questions are always allowed. Please remember the golden rule when replying to other people. ——— Whether you actually read the whole thing or not, whatever your belief is. Know that you are always loved and cherished, even when you feel alone, there is always someone out there who is thinking about you <3 ______ Now some notes from me :) I actually struggled a bit with figuring out what to make the poster be like (one of the reasons I ended up posting this challenge a bit later than expected), I wanted something simple but for some reason I always end up doing more than I planned haha, but hopefully this looks okay (especially the text) and that you all like it ^u^/ I didn’t have much time nor energy last month to make a drawing each week, but hopefully this month will be better ~ Also have fun ♡

Faith as small as a Mustard Seed

I know the daily challenge won the vote but @ledourque was right, I kinda needed this..

It's not my best work but that hand looks so good lol (I traced a reference for the hand)

Here's a bonus verse to sum up what I've been feeling lately:
"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."
Psalm 56:3 KJV

My anxiety has been squeezing my heart lately, and I'll I feel I wanna do is cry, even after I've prayed and prayed. Although I did feel a lot better today after spending time with family and reading Scripture (especially a 3 day scripture plan for anxiety), as it's currently dark outside I become uneasy again.. But no matter how much my heart aches, how many tears fall, I will still trust in Jesus.. Come what may. I praise the Lord I have been given this gift to draw, working on art usually calms me.

(Side note: half of the anxiety is probably from hormones, It's about that time of month..)

There's so much to be afraid of, so much to be anxious about, I'll never BS you and tell you otherwise. But our God is so much bigger, so much more powerful than our fears and whatever causes them. And He loves you so much. You have the Creator of the universe looking out for you. I don't know about you, but that's hard for me to even wrap my head around. When I get anxious and fearful (and those things can feel crushing at times), they make me feel like my faith is small and insignificant, and that I'm worthless and weak for letting them overcome me. But I'm far from worthless in the eyes of my Savior, and so are you. I heard a great line the other day; the currency of the Kingdom is need. Where we need Him most in our lives is where He shines, where He is glorified. You're at a weak point. That's okay. You need His strength and comfort. Let Him show you how great He is, again and again. And hey, you'll probably have to remind me of that sometime. We need those reminders.
