My emotional attachment to my OCs [Challenge]I decided to participate into this challenge for fun and to do some reflecting on my OC´s and how I feel about them!
Here is my notes for each entry;
[Comfort OC]
I would techincally concider all of my OCs as comfort OC´s. They were all made for the purpose of me expressing thoughts and feelings that aren´t always appropriate to demonstrate phyically.
But if I were to pick one to represent this, it would be Leslie. I find a lot of comfort in her since she´s always so kind and bubbly. When I write or draw her, I find my inner child again.
[Self Insert]
I was originally gonna put both ViciBean and Ellah together since they are both techincally my personas. But since Ellah got her own entry, I decided to only do ViciBean.
I only created this persona recently. And I would like to remark that while she does share a lot of my appearence and some personality traits, she is essentionally made to be a flat character. She is to represent the positive human traits and because of that, I don´t think there is much to look into about her beyond being a self-insert.
[Tragic Backstory]
All of my OC´s have some kind of tragedy in their life. I could techincally put them all here, but like with the
comfort entry, I decided to have one represent it.
Elisabeth or Eli is probably the most well-known for having a tragic backstory. I know I haven shown much of it yet, but going through her life in the story is not gonna be easy. I also wanted to finally show what is behind those bandages.
[Never draw]
This is kinda cheating, because I do draw Eugene from time to time. But if I were to pick one of my OC´s that I draw the least, it would be him. And its not because I don´t like him or anything. I just never have any good ideas for him. He´s a very closed-off person 90 % of the time (unless drunk) and while I am trying to build a more reletable personality for him, he´s still not gonna be my first pick for OC to draw tbh. I´m pretty ashamed of myself for this.
[Longest]
Ellah is the oldest OC. Not exactly true, but she is the oldest surviving OC of mine. I created her in august 2016. She was originally a fan OC for a fandom, but I seperated her from this fandom to make her my OC. I had built an entire story for her, however, this story is now discontinued. With the current world events as well as for my own well being, I thought it would be better to not tell her story as it was pretty bleak.
[Favorite]
Picking a favorite OC is like asking a parent who is their favorite child. I cannot pick someone to be my favorite since I love them all. Of course, I have phases where I draw one or two characters more than the others, but thats not because I like them more.

This is one super interesting challenge! OCs are never made out of nowhere, they represent artist himself at least at some point. To that reason I love watching over people's original work. Thanks so much for sharing some of your personal connections with your OCs! <3
