🌶️Design a Character Based on a Spice or Herb🧄

Thank you all so much for your support and kind words it truly makes me enjoy sharing my art with you all🥹💕🥹💕 But, um, I guess it does what it says on the tin, design a character based on a herb or a spice☺️🌶️ I’m not sure whether this has been done before but I really liked the potential it held for playing and experiment with character designs (I’ve already got started on a cinnamon design😁😂) You don’t have to just pick from the ones I’ve put on the cover image, it can be any herb or spice from around the world☺️ Rules: 🧄no winners or prizes, it’s just for fun 🌶️only SFW please, I’d like this to be accessible to everyone 🧄all mediums are welcome 🌶️you can enter as many times as you’d like And just have fun with it☺️💕🌶️

oregano 🌿my entry for this challenge is based on oregano!
some explanation for the design:
- the herb (or at least some types of it) is considered a bit spicy
- it's related to marjoram and so it's sometimes called /wild/ marjoram
- it's a mediterranean herb
based on those three things (mediterranean, wild, spicy) I decided to draw inspiration from some traditional italian clothing and from costumes for the opera "Carmen" (which is set in spain and whose titular protagonist is famously... spicy)
and then most of the colors are just colorpicked from wikimedia photos of oregano (which has beautiful flowers btw and I never knew until now)
this was very fun to work on! I definitely enjoyed myself a lotDec 7, 2023
