Serpent's Eye: Peri (1)

Part of my school assignment where we had to create concept art for an original concept!

My concept: In a kingdom that lives in fear of a monster, the queen offers a life-changing boon to anyone who can bring her its head. Many have tried to slay the beast, but none have yet succeeded. A young woman hoping to prove herself is the latest to set out to slay the monster. However, she soon realises that what she thought she always knew about it was a lie: the monster is not a predator, but a woman outcast and villainised because of her monstrous appearance.

Not very original but I suck at coming up with stories and I just wanted to draw Greek myth-inspired stuff lol
