šŸ”„BurnšŸ”„ [study]

So I saw The Cure live a few weeks ago and they played Burn from The Crow (1994) and what can I say, Iā€™ve been inspired.
Fun fact: Iā€™m from Detroit and Iā€™ve grown up listening to The Cure so The Crow is a pretty special movie for me. Devils night doesnā€™t really happen anymore but from what my mom has told me, it used to be like that.

So I whipped up with anthro crow man, loosely based off of a one off character by this early 2000s furry artist Iā€™ve absolutely fallen in love with, that I canā€™t find any up to date social media for, Roux. And I got to painting.

Man I miss painting like thisJul 7, 2023

Love the lighting on here, a nice sharp contrast between the blacks and reds, really sets a mood!

I forgot! This is also a mixed media piece!! The character was drawn and inked on paper with pen and alcohol markers, then scanned into CSP where I did the background, effects and lighting
