artist vs inspirations animation meme kid edition4/8 of my childhood art style inspirations are problematic now if not more 
I don't support them now or anything they did wrong but their art styles influenced me to have the one I do currently (and the type that I want to have since this isn't my ideal art style and I want to improve it)
1: twisted-doctor (sleepykinq)
2: foxi boxi
3: sir fluff
4: berxc
5: unknownspy
6: purple unknown
7: birdie (unlike the other problematic people on here, I don't think I ever supported birdie and always knew they're problematic. but that was how I learned to start drawing humans, mostly where I got how I draw noses from. Him and Animal crossing's nose style)
8: fool / fooffle (I think that's how it's spelled)
I originally had burnt lime in 8, but I thought fool fit better
there's probably more but I don't remember. just know that 2017 animation memers all influenced my art pretty hard and I still watch animation memes now and want to create them at some point (hence why most of my inspirations are problematic, since a lot of the animation meme community turns out to be. it's awful lol. i feel like there's some kind of animation memer curse / spiky artstyle curse that everyone who has that style and does animation memes turns out to be problematic so I feel like
im hoping the art style doesn't get me like a poor reputation or "bad gut feeling" for anybody)
I've wanted to do this for a while but worried because of my inspirations, but I do feel like a few of them show in my art style

I love getting to see what styles influenced people !! and with the problematic people thing, I wouldn't worry too hard about it. I'm pretty sure that if you've been in the animation meme community, you've unknowingly supported at least 1 problematic person, just as long as you don't support the problematics now you should be good! I used to watch birdie and twisted-doctor too when I didn't know they were bad (I was too young to understand what the fuck birdie was doing when he was in his prime.. at least what I think was the prime?? 2017ish???), thankfully neither of us do anymore. as for the curse thing, I totally get where ur coming from- I always think about the cute style curse (and how cutesy artists end up being shitty, the creator of pj's daycare and lupisvulpes for example). but you just gotta go against the stereotype, yknow?
