Choices

So overall this decision might seem a bit off on both ends since Jean's friends are all on Raz's side and Agwe is more of a neutral party. However, I swear there's some reasoning TRUST!!!
For agwe, this was one of the hardest decisions he has ever had to make. He hates picking sides and even in this case, he considers both of them near and dear. He hasn't interacted with Miriam much but he knows, or at least feels, her intentions to be pure. Now the real trouble here is Raz. Raz is a glass canon that seems to be getting more cracks with every event and he can't stand to see him like this. Agwe didn't join Raz's side to protect him from Miriam, he joined Raz's side to protect Raz from...himself. Agwe understands that at the end of the day, Raz will hate him for what he may have to do, but as long as Raz is safe, Agwe is happy and fine being a "villain" to his friend. At least that's what he's telling himself...
Jean's decision was based on the old "keep your friends close but your enemies closer" vibe. He does not trust Miriam but he also feels that Raz is well protected and supported, so why not join the enemy? Miriam claiming to be a shadow helper and supporting CA definitely ticked a box in Jean's mind since he is probably one of the biggest CA supporters. Cipher Academy saved him from himself and he is willing to lay down everything for the institution, but the question is, can he trust Miriam to be a good leader? Overall his answer is a big no, but there's something about Raz that is a little... off-putting...Like there's something underneath it all that scares him slightly... so ya maybe it's ok to trust Miriam a bit...
There's so much more I want to talk about, about each of their decisions but I'll leave it at that for now EHHEHEHEOct 3, 2024
