Cass (OC)
This is Cass, my new/old OC.She lives in a large house with dozens of other children and a queen, who prepares them to cross beyond the wall.
Cass is 13 years old and has never made any friends—except for herself. Unfortunately, her habit of talking to herself led the other children to start calling her "Sméagol" (from The Lord of the Rings), which has only made her more insecure.
On top of that, she possesses something the queen detests: a diary. She has to keep it hidden from everyone, fearing punishment for preserving memories of that house.
Because of this, she decided to bury the diary near the lake before crossing to the other side—the "world of wishes," where children go after passing through the wall (the wall grants one wish to each child).
The plan was simple: bury the diary, get past the queen’s inspection, and then, at the wall, wish for her diary to be brought to her by a companion who would truly understand her. However, while burying it, she discovered 10 other diaries. Upon reading them, she realized their owners had come up with the exact same plan—yet the diaries were still there. Something was wrong. So, she decided to run away.
In the drawing, she has her own diary and a bag containing 5 of the 10 diaries she found, along with a few of her own personal belongings.
This is a bit of the story I’m creating. I’ll likely share more about it later.Oct 31, 2026
