DRAW SOMETHING. BUT REALLY BADLY. ON PURPOSE!!
okay but the "serious" talk. We get bogged down in always trying to be our best all the time. Sometimes, this hits a critical mass where we're too critical of ourselves. It can result in art block, being afraid to show what we've worked so hard on, talking ourselves down etc etc.
So I want you to take all the pressure off yourself. Open up a new file and forget everything you know. No sketches. No worrying about anatomy. Don't even colour in the lines properly.
I've found, in the past, if things aren't working well for me... Drawing like a child puts that smile back on my face and satisfies the need to create for a bit.
So go ahead - be silly & have some fun with it!
Don't feel you need to upload anything you make, btw. You're welcome to delete any silliness without showing anyone. I just want to introduce you guys to something I've done to help myself in the past.
