Stratis and a monster #DTIYS Challenge

This is the finalized version of the previous sketches I wanted to upload here as well. I don't know what this illustration represents but like I said, it started off as a side profile sketch study that I ended up drawing a monster on the background and also, colouring and blending it. - I am opening it as a #DTIYS challenge for you to participate in. Haunted by a monsterI really wanted to draw the monster... For it I decided to look at the Ohmu from Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind for the plates. I also decided to add "eye sockets" to show that after so long the monster species just didn't need them. What a neat design c:

Also for Stratis I decided to dress him in tights, akin to Link from Zelda cause it seemed to work with the general look. Also love the long hair.Jun 20, 2022
