The pink and purple tones are kind of competing for attention, especially since the purple is in a otherwise eyecatching position composition wise and there is just so much of the pink there as a solid mass.
I don’t know much about the characters color sceme other than that the purple tones are important. So changing up the pink tones a bit either a bit towards a purple hint to harmonize with the other purples, or changing them a bit more towards a orange-y red to go with the background and give the purple more pop would be my go to.
Maybe playing around with some overlays could help?
