I was getting into reading again a lot more lately and I stumbled over this this Book āthe darkest part of the forestā by Holly Black.
The Cruel prince, one of her other books (very popular one even) was the book that got me into reading in the first place. I just love her worldbuilding and storytelling, I love the characters, the tropes, the Atmosphere. Just the way she describes everything, makes me so happy.
And when I finished the cruel prince for the second time , after finishing the whole series
, I stumbled upon the darkest part of the forest. I was instantly intrigued because it is in the same universe as the cruel prince. Iām not even halfway through, but there is one scene where (I wonāt spoiler, I promise) the main protagonist-Hazel- dreams and I wanted to draw the dream and everything around it, but it was too late in the evening and I was too tired so I just drew her instead. I want to finish it someday in the future but for now this is it.Mar 24, 2025
