The only way.After Shadow’s final fight with his demon, the Shadoweater, he is severely injured. Knowing despite everything, Shadoweater could still be dangerous through him, he captured what was left of him, inside himself to end it all together.
The fight was gruesome and the deep wounds on his body covered up with parts of his shadow form after he left the fighting area. Even if Shadoweater wouldn’t be a danger anymore, he wouldn’t be able to live like this, his family, his friends having to see him like that.
And only through sacrificing he could make sure, they had a place to stay and live in.
This was very fun to draw, I had my struggles with the blood and the general look of the wounds but I’m happy it turned out the way it did.Jun 4, 2021
