Month of dread 3– the lonely
The two gods are together, but alone.You can see Umbra's figure as she wanders, distant from Lux (over there in the golden part of the nebula, trying to calm himself by meditating) in every sense.
They've been wandering around space, trying to find their true bodies (yeah basically the gods y'all have seen are actually embodiments of the actual planets, stars and everything else they're gods of. And it often happens that embodiments aren't conscious of their true bodies, which is why the father moon and father sun hid the fact that Umbra was actually a black planet and Lux was its sun by saying they actually were embodiments of the moon's shadow and sun's light (which was also true for some reason but they foreshadowed what was going on– you know what, it's complicated)
Anyway, their relationship, who was a friendship, worsened. Like, they didn't become enemies, just... Strangers.Sep 17, 2026
