Comparing My Men
After doodling Thistle's face, I simply had to compare him with my VillainVersed character Pierce! Pardon the wonkiness of Thistle's body, he's hard to draw and I haven't landed on his outfits.Why compare them? They've both been long-term obsessions—Pierce for more than five years, and Thistle now for over one, since I first made him. Additionally... they both identify themselves as nonbinary men, particularly Pierce in the modern era. Thistle however is based loosely in the Victorian era, thrown into the medieval ages, so he's a bit limited. I also want him to have broad shoulders with an otherwise gangly, thin body, which is not easy to do!Sep 2, 2026
